Steven Sher
A Brooklyn (New York) native, Steven Sher is the descendant of Polish and Russian Jews, rabbis and garment workers, kibitzers and dreamers. He is the author of eleven other books including a collection of stories, Man with a Thousand Eyes, and a forthcoming new poetry title, The House of Washing Hands. His poetry and prose have appeared in hundreds of magazines across the U.S. and overseas. He has taught at various universities and workshops over the past thirty years.
